The Mercury Veil
The origin story of the Mad Hatter through the lens of mercury poisoning in Georgian hat-making factories. A dark exploration of industrial exploitation and the madness it creates. Currently seeking UK production partnerships.
Downstream
A small Tennessee community fights back against corporate contamination poisoning their water supply. A story about justice, accountability, and the courage it takes to stand up when powerful forces want you silent.
The Last Copper Run
When federal agents kill her moonshiner father in 1928 Appalachia, pregnant Birdie McCallister has forty-eight hours to carry his fifty-pound copper still sixty miles to Knoxville—the only way to get money for medicine, train fare, and a future for her unborn child.

Ayla Demirci is a Nashville-based actress, screenwriter, and producer with 30+ screen credits. She founded Reelsage LLC to make films for the underdogs — raw, gritty, bold stories that give voice to the silenced and light to the forgotten.
Reelsage is bringing film jobs to Tennessee. Her slate includes projects she writes and stars in, productions from emerging filmmakers, and international co-productions — films that hit bone.
